Beastly : fantastic film

Beastly is a fantastic American film directed by Daniel Barnz released on March 4, 2011 in the United States and on July 6, 2011 in France. With New York as its main decor, it proposes a contemporary and dark proofreading of the tale La Belle et la Bête. This film is from Alex Flinn’s eponymous novel.
The film was shot largely in Montreal, Quebec between June 2009 and July 2009. Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer were both awarded the Star of Tomorrow Award at the Showest Awards 2010.

Superficial and spoiled, 17-year-old Kyle is the most popular boy in his high school. Obsessed with his image and notoriety, he will attack the victim too… For fun, Kyle tries to humiliate Kendra, a beautiful gothic girl in her class who, according to rumor, is a witch. The girl decides to give him a good lesson and casts a spell that transforms him into a monster as hideous on the outside as he is on the inside. Victim of the spell, Kyle has one year to find someone who can truly love him despite his appearance, otherwise he will remain a monster forever. His only hope lies in a discreet girl that he had never noticed until now, Lindy, whom he will really fall in love with.
